| Posted: | | | | I think the color & 2D might be considered standard, and only if a film/TV series is any of the other choices should it be contributed, other wise contributions will get out of control. |

It was decided not to default a color option because too many would be automatically wrong.
I'm submitting the non-Color in my DB first. | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! |

| Posted: | | | | Hehe. Yes things are already out of control. I have about 3700 films and voted nearly an hour today for addings of color, b/w, 3D, second and third country. And that will continue, I am lucky not to be a screener :-)

I'd rather have all profiles with production year > X default to colour, and have the incorrect ones changed back. Same for b&w, 2d, 3d. Surely Invelos can apply filters to its database and make general changes. It's a bit more efficient, I think. The only other thing Invelos needs to do, is put out an explanation about this default value, and how people can submit the correct value. | | | Last edited: by marcelb7 |

Seems sensible to me; shame it wasn't implemented from the off! I'm almost scared to look at the database updates to be voted on... they could at least have put a filter so any profile updating those items skips the voting process and just goes through the screeners... and screeners could have a system where they only check if it is outside certain parameters to help them out. | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong | | | Last edited: by Voltaire53 |

| Posted: | | | | 2d is default. So I think color also should have been default. Much easier to change only the B&W's and mixed. |

How about breaking it down on production year, video format and genre 'television'? TV-shows before 1965 in B&W, the rest in color. Movies with format 1.33:1 and production year before 19xx are B&W, the rest in color? Ofcourse, these are only suggestions. I have no idea if this is workable for you. |

I don't see that as a valid reason to be voting no on these contributions. | | | Corey |
