| Posted: | | | | This is how i was reading the credits The original story was written by George Worthing Yates this was adapted for the screen (could be considered Screen Story?) by Russell Hughes and the final screenplay was done by Ted Sherdeman, does that make sense? | | | Last edited: by ninehours |

| Posted: | | | | IF anything I would say that OMB is probably the absolute closest pssinility. It can't be a Story Ny for the simple reason that they gave a SPECIFIC Story By Credit.

| Posted: | | | | Looks like we need another tick box for Adaptation.
If I were looking at the profile if OMB were used for the Adaptation credit, I would think the OMB credit is the original work, from which the Story by credit was derived. Looking at the screen shot, however, I think it's probably the other way around. | | | Kevin |

| Posted: | | | | From the brief reading up on it I've done, the "Adaptation" credit seemed to be used mostly where someone would have an influence over the direction the resulting screenplay took from the original material but didn't have enough direct input to warrant a screenplay credit.
I'd personally probably just leave it out or keep it local, but would have no objection if I saw it as an OMB credit on a submission. |

| Posted: | | | | The way I read the credits, the screen play is based on the adaptation. Because of that, and the notes section of the crew chart, OMB seems the best choice. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. Whether it's a book, a play, a screenplay, a premise, an idea - it's all "original material" serving as some kind of basis for the screenplay, isn't it? |
