Hi everyone,
I'm having the same problem here.
I tried to print some labels with the plug in but every time there comes a message saying
"the type inisialitaion function for ptouchlabel.ptouch has created an exception.

I don't know what this means so if anyone can help that would be great.
Brother B-Pack sdk is installed and I run on windows 10 x64.
I tried uninstalling the plugin but no succes.

Hey, I remember you! My first tester (2007), right?

By the "same problem," do you mean the last one mentioned, dated 2 years ago, and stated as "resolved"?

Now I know that you have been using the plugin for years, so we need to start with what has changed on your system between when it last worked for you and now.

FYI, I am running:

- Windows 10, X64
- PTouchLabel 2.1
- PTouch Editor 5.1
- Brother b-PAC3 SDK 3.1.005
Thanks for your support.

I don't use the plugin myself, except for testing. I recall that they changed label formats at some point. I only support the original label format. So, if you have an old old label, try that one. I believe the label editor supports both formats. If you still have my email address, send me one of your labels that fails and I will try it on my system. Send me a  PM if you need my email.

If all else fails, you might want to try the exact editor and SDK versions that I listed.
Thanks for your support.

Hi,
The problem is solved.
I installed the x64 version of the sdk since my windows is x64.
But ptouch editor is x32 version.
So I now installed the x32 version of the sdk and reinstalled ptouchlabel and now it works.
So I guess the problem was with the version of the sdk.

All the best,

Glad to hear it. So the answer to my original question would have in fact revealed the problem. But we eventually got there anyway.
