Thanks for the message, I've seen a couple this morning and vote neutral first (I don't usually vote on date change, too much search needed for something not that important). But after a better look it doesn't look right. Now he/she seems to play with the cover, it incredible how some users want to see their name on contribution and end on my list of "Don't trust this user contribution"

That doesn't change the fact that you entered into a different region.  Since you did so, you have no business questioning someone else entering a region outside of where they live.  At best, you look disingenuous.

"Species" was re-submitted too. Before 3/26/97 was submitted as release date with amazon as the source, now www.widescreenreview.com is given as the source and it changed to 3/25/97, which is a Tuesday.

Widescreenreview is not a press release. Note that he is attempting to move the release date from August to March based on third party information. Was Species among the FIRST titles to be released to DVD...frankly I doubt it. But I can't remember.

he has started re-submitting after shifting the dates from the one listed at movieweb to the nearest Tuesday...while still listing movieweb as his source...so he is effectively lying.

I am seeing him re-submit quoting old magazines as a source.... and the only source. I can't see voting yes to something that can't be checked... especially with evidence of him lying.

As a UK reader, even I know that "most" US/Canada releases are on a Tuesday

I admit, I have got no idea why...

Monday seems to work well in the UK

(well, most of the time.... sometimes Friday is used for bigger "1st" week sales figures)
