Greetings:

Is there a way to find a submission that has been blessed off by the powers that be, but has not yet been released.  For example, I got 101 Dalmantions on Thursday night, and when I entered into my database, I noticed that the scans weren't up to snuff.  But, I figure, hey it's Walt's company, someone somewhere HAS to have these in.  But it wasn't in the DB section.  So I fiugre it must be in that Profiler Purgatory between accepted and released.

Is there a way to see those "purgatory" submissions?  (Am I making any sense?)

In order to see pending submissions for DVDs you have in your collection, first of all make sure you've uploaded your collection to DVD Profiler Online, then click Database above. This page shows you all the pending updates that you can vote on, or have already voted on.
Is that what you mean?

No, I mean after they have been voted on.  Maybe, say, Monday or Tuesday the submission would get to me.

I'm talking about AFTER the submissions have been accepted and BEFORE they are downloaded to my database.

I'm sure what he means is his early purchase is wanting to be married up to the new scans that other contributors donated during the first 96 hours of release.
But mind you and especially to Rink, Keep in mind that there may very well be two UPC codes for this title and sometimes even three or four depending on the release of all separate UPC codes. So if you don't see yours showing up in profiler after a week, it's possible that yours is a title that maybe different through 'locality and special features'  ( single disc / double disc) .

Seeing your reply back just before I entered mine, there is a way to get that scan before Monday or Tuesday etc, and that is when you see the voting or pending votes you could copy that scan and then paste it back to your profiler if you wish to get it early ..

Like the others have said, just give it a week and you'll know.
As of right now, I'm 99% positive that no one besides the screeners can see what was approved and waiting to be released fully.
The only other way would be to keep notes, but you still can't see what the new contributions are until they are released.

I think you can do it by looking at the Contribution Notes for the profile. Here's how you can look at the contributions notes for any profile.
1. Load up the profile in the program, and click on the "View Contributors" link in the profile.
2. From that window that lists the contributors, there is a link called "View Contribution Notes." If you click on that link, I believe you can look at the contribution notes and see updates that have been approved, but not yet released.

The answer to the questnion is 'No'.  Once the submission has been processed by the screeners, you can see the notes for the contribution, but not the profile itself.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Excellent ... this was the answer I was looking for.  I should be able to find out if scans are needed or what others have submitted.

Thanks everyone.
