So apparently we can't use a 3rd party database for determining the production year aka theatrical release. That certainly complicates things... That being the case then the only valid contributable data that will be allowed would seem to be the Copyright year as defined in the Film Credits!  Steve ps. this is not a dig at Patsa, just a view in general. |

Show me a source that can be relied upon other than the Film/TV Show, you can point at sources, but there is no guarantee as to accuracy, in fact many of the Online sources contain much incorrect data including Production and.or Theatrical release data, noit to mention that their data is just there, no place you can go to see what was used to buttress the data. However, you CAN use third party sources for REFERENCE, the mistake that I see in your comment was A third party source. I would NEVER submit any data using ANY individual source as the sole reference because I am well aware of the inaccuracy issues, so any reference I use will contain no less that two independent sources and hopefully more than that.
