| | Posted: | | | | As some of you no doubt noticed, we experienced an unplanned outage today. We suffered a critical server failure and spent most of the morning and afternoon working with our hosting vendor to attempt to resolve it. In the end we determined there was no better solution than to rebuild the server.
On the plus side, this gave us an excellent real-world test of our backup processes. We're happy to report that all data is secure and restored, to within two minutes prior to the server failure.
We apologize for the inconvenience. We're working with our hosting vendor to improve our diagnosis and repair processes to improve timeliness in the event of any future issues.
