We had this discussion several time already. This is nothing but your personal opinion, not the forum's. On the contrary, it is a personal preference to use "Composer" or "Song Writer" for an on-screen credit other than "Composer" or "Song Writer". The Rules clearly state that if the credit is not listed in the table, it should not be entered, but certain people have been ignoring that little fact for quite some time. | | | | Hal |

| | Posted: | | | | I've done so about 28 times in the past year - the last time in several lengthy posts in this thread - including an explanation of how the rules indeed say to use "Song Writer" for a "Theme By" credit. I'm not to keen on debating this all over again - I already know what you're going to say, and you can read my replies in any of those previous threads. I remain absolutely convinced that RHo has it absolutely right, and I feel 100% backed up by the rules on this. Only a clear statement from Ken could change my mind - and I expect the same goes for you as well. So please, can we please not start all over again? Ken just needs to settle this. Whether he does that by a simple clarification here in the forums or by changes to the rules and/or the software doesn't matter to me, but history has shown that we won't come to an agreement on this among ourselves. Let's end this discussion by saying that I recontributed the profile WITHOUT removing the 'theme' writers and I also added the 'theme' writers to the child profiles I had already submitted. |
