| | Posted: | | | | I don't want to butt in to this thread as a regular killjoy, but... this improved forum atmosphere and more than necessary break in all the bickering and negativity should really be used to REALLY let bygones be bygones (phrase thrown around pretty freely a week or so ago and earlier). So when all of us are together again (you know what I mean), I wouldn't like the returnee seeing threads demonstrating glee over someone's absence. You all know how paranoid the atmosphere in this regard was, and how a thread like this (not referring to the OP but various veiled remarks pointing to the absence of someone...) might be received. I just hope this "improved atmosphere" could really continue from now on... posts that (openly or veiled) hint that it is just because someone is not here (whatever the facts might be) are not helping in that goal. | | Posted: | | | | I would just like to add that the reason I made this topic wasn't at all to single out one or a select number of (absent) users. I posted a thread regarding moderation some weeks ago and noticed there seemed to be a lot of good will, both from the members as well as Invelos, to improve things.
I've noticed now that there has indeed been a noticeable improvement: people can ask questions without being hazed, people openly admit when they make mistakes (and feel safe to do so now) and apologize and correct their mistakes, etc. This is exactly the kind of open an welcoming atmosphere I thought I would see the very first time I posted here and I just wanted to express my joy and thanks to see it all come together like that.
My hope is that we can all keep it up (including myself) to keep this nurturing atmosphere going. | | | Blu-ray collection
